Guten Tag,
(That’s hello in Swiss… Did you know they speak Swiss in Germany too?)
So, by now you are probably wondering where I have gone to. Though it was hard to leave Sugarloaf, especially with Little Miss Snowflake giving you the Snow Report this season, I am now in Switzerland, pursuing my dream of being a One-Piece-Ski-Suit-Model with my DROP DEAD GORGEOUS boyfriend Franz.
The life of a model is crazy but, it’s what I’ve always wanted. There’s nothing better than galavanting around in the alps, dressed to the nines in Bogner, Killy, and Obermire ski suits, drinking Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa, eating Swiss Cheese, and carving little animals out of wood with my Swiss Army Knife. Life is GRAND.
And, I think I left Sugarloaf in “Okay” hands. I worked all summer training Kari for her job. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But, you know what they say, you can’t do the electric slide on a hard wood floor without eating a little bacon first.
I did have a bad dream last night though. I dreamt it was December and there wasn’t any snow yet. I dreamt that Snowflake didn’t understand it was her job to make the snow and I had to jet back to the mountain to rescue her. I woke up crying my eyes out, praying to god that I was wrong…
Boy was I relieved when I woke up.
Auf Wiedersehen…
Lizzy

Episode 1: Passing the Torch
Meet Kari, Sugarloaf’s new Snow Reporter. She’s from San Diego and has a lot to learn about East Coast skiing. Fortunately, she has help from an old pro… Lizzy Reinholt, a one-piece ski suits wearing, pom-pom hat sporting, vintage ski wear fanatic, whose made it her mission of whipping Kari into shape before snow hits the ground. How does it go? Can Kari handle the tough life of being Sugarloaf’s snow reporter? Well… you’ll just have to watch and find out!
